Munnar - 28
In the eastern highlands of Kerala the tea town of Munnar is surrounded by a green carpet of tea bushes that stretch as far as the eye can see.
Tea picking is usually carried out by village women who only pick the new green shoots at the top of the bush.
Tea, coffee, rice and the ubiquitous Kerala spices are the the main agricultural produce of the "garden state".
