Varanasi - 26 This platform beside a small ghat at Varanasi serves multiple purposes throughout the day. I walked past several times - sometimes it was empty, at other times people were praying or sleeping here, and sometimes people were just sitting observing the river and passing pedestrian traffic on the ghats.
