The funeral bier of the late King of Mengwi. The bier comprised a large base platform with a multi-tiered temple built above it. The king's body was placed in a compartment below the first temple tier and 50 bearers lifted and carried this traditional funeral structure in a huge traditional Hindu funeral procession watched by hundreds of thousands of people in the streets of Mengwi.
