Beach at Essaouira
The beach at Essaouira stretches for several kilometres from the main town (in the background) to the Bordj El Berod, the remains of an ancient fort built on the sands and surrounded by the waters of the Atlantic Ocean at high tide.
Essaouira is a well-known and popular wind-surfing locality.
