Atlas - 16 An elusive Barbary ape (centre of photo) in the cedar forests near Aïn Leuh in the Middle Atlas Mountains. The Barbary ape is actually a Macaque monkey and in this area large family groups can often be seen foraging in small clearings. However, they seem very camera shy! |
