Anti Atlas Mountains, Tata
Beneath the imposing, rugged hills of the Anti Atlas a kasbah sits on a natural rock platform. Even today kasbahs in the south of Morocco are built as strong walled fortresses - easy to defend from potential enemies.
Any patch of fertile land is cultivated in this area where dates and nuts are produced.
