Welcome to the BIGSHOTS IMAGE LIBRARY - a gallery of colour transparencies and digital photographs shot by Australian photographer Robert Watson on several trips to India and journeys through Morocco, Burma, Vietnam, Italy, Bali and of course my home country, Australia. Many of the images are from specific regions especially in India, while others are more general images of people and situations that try to catch the essence of the location.

The INDIA section of this site displays photographs from many different regions of India (see INDIA PHOTO INDEX), as well as a CLICKABLE LOCATION MAP of photo locations, copies of PUBLISHED TRAVEL STORIES on India written by Robert Watson, and a page with links for USEFUL INFORMATION for the traveller. Travelling by train in India will provide you with experiences and sights you'll not see anywhere else in India. Whatever you do, make sure you include at least one sector of rail travel in your India itinerary. In the meantime, ENJOY THIS 'VIRTUAL' JOURNEY TO INDIA.

All the BLACK & WHITE photographs were shot on black and white film and are available as genuine photographic prints, or as digital prints for those images whose negatives have had high resolution digital scans.
